No Respect Biography

No Respect is a Punk Rock band from Göttingen, Germany. Established in 1985, their sound has evolved from traditional punk to a contemporary mixture of Ska and Punk. The band lineup currently consists of a brass section comprising saxophone, trumpet and a trombone, and a rhythm section of bass, drums and guitar.During the height of their career, No Respect released two albumns and a variety of other recordings. Their reputation was established primarily through an extensive touring schedule, including tours through Italy and Spain.No Repect's lyrics commonly deal with political, personal and emotional issues. A firm anti-fascist sentiment is conveyed through songs such as "No Nazi's Friend". The unity of effective and purposeful lyrics with a powerful but melodic musical sensibility has forged a significant and dedicated following for the band.No Respect have announced that they are splitting in 2008.
