Jurga ?eduikyt? (b. 1980, Tel?iai, Lithuania), known by her stage name Jurga, is a Lithuanian singer and songwriter. Biography Born into a family of musicians in Tel?iai, Jurga graduated high school and piano classes in Palanga. She acquired a bachelor's degree in journalism and a master's degree in public relations from Vilnius University.Jurga's debut album Aukso pieva (literary, a meadow of gold) was released in September 2005 and has received very positive reactions. The album was produced by famous Lithuanian musician Andrius Mamontovas.Nebijok and Saul? vandeny were the most successful hits in 2005 and they helped Jurga to win the Best Female Act and the Best Album of 2005 "Jurga's triumph in Bravo Awards" in the Lithuanian Bravo Awards.The second Jurga's album with more expressed art rock rhythms, but has a vocal jazz background, Instrukcija (literary, instruction), was released on 19 April 2007 and became "gold" within 2 weeks.
