Elevator Suite is a 3 piece electronic pop group formed in January, 1999 by English DJ Andy Childs who specialized in easy & lounge music, his old friend DJ Paul "Robbo" Roberts, and Steve Grainger, who was working as a producer of a small recording studio in Totnes.http://www.last.fm/music/Elevator+SuiteThe group uses a mixture of rock, jazz and house. Apparent influences in their work range through the Beatles, Deodato, Esquivel, Antonio Carlos Jobim, the Pet Shop Boys, Burt Bacharach, and early Air.Their first single was "Man in a Towel" which quickly gained popularity in the UK and was followed by two more songs ("Barefoot" and "Weekend Wonderboy").
