Electric City is a town in Grant County, Washington, United States. The population was 922 at the 2000 census. History Electric City was officially incorporated on August 4, 1950. Geography Electric City is located at (47.930865, -119.036069).According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.6 square miles (1.5 km²), of which, 0.5 square miles (1.4 km²) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km²) of it (5.26%) is water. Demographics As of the census of 2000, there were 922 people, 382 households, and 291 families residing in the town. The population density was 1,706.3 people per square mile (659.2/km²). There were 420 housing units at an average density of 777.3/sq mi (300.3/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 89.59% White, 0.22% African American, 7.05% Native American, 0.65% Asian, 0.11% Pacific Islander, 0.11% from other races, and 2.28% from two or more races.
