Deadly Blessing is a horror movie directed by Wes Craven, released in the USA on August 14, 1981.
Synopsis
In the film, strange murders occur in an Amish community. 3 young girls from the city, staying at a nearby farm, are besieged by the unseen perpetrator as well. The mad ringleader of the Amish "Hittites" (played by Ernest Borgnine) accuses the "incubus" as being responsible.
Trivia
It was Sharon Stone's second movie. Ernest Borgnine was nominated for a Razzie award for the "Worst Supporting Actor" for this movie.
A real spider was dropped into Sharon Stone's mouth; she initially rejected participating in the scene until it was defanged.
It was filmed in Lockhart, TX.
