Danny Tenaglia (born March 7, 1961) is a New York-based DJ and record producer. His music has been called "progressive garage" by some journalists. Tenaglia's tracks and remixes use a blend of progressive and tribal house sounds. Although he has released tracks on a variety of labels, he is more associated with Tribal America and Twisted.His track "Elements" was a Billboard Dance #1 for three weeks in 1998. His 2006 follow-up single "Dibiza" is now out.
Residencies
Danny Tenaglia has held several high-profile New York City residencies, including stints at Twilo (1996-1997), Tunnel (1997-1998), and Vinyl (later renamed Arc). The long running "Be Yourself" party at Vinyl/Arc ran from 1999-2004 and won Dancestar awards for Best Club Night in 2003 and 2004.
